Our season season starts April 1 through October 31 with a break during the Spawning season.
( second week in May - June 15 ) .
We Recommended 7-8 wt. rods set up with floating lines for summer floats and 7-8 wt rods set up with a intermediate line for spring and fall when we are fishing deeper in the water column and throwing larger streamers.
Summer evening floats are the perfect half day adventure and puts you on the water during the prime time of the day for great top water action. These trips typically run from 4:30pm - 8:30 pm, and focus on throwing top water flys and fishing the top of the water column with CK baitfish patterns and Murdich minnow patterns.
These floats are a great option for people visiting the area or coming to Harrisburg for work.
Trips on the Rivers are done in a 16’ Clackacraft drift boat and can accommodate 2 anglers.
1-2 person custom trips can also be had on the Tributaries in the spring for Pre spawn fishing depending on water conditions. These trips are in a 12’ Flycraft Stealth X raft complete with fishing frame and casting braces front and rear, this boat enables us to float the smaller tributaries that have no boat launch access.
I don’t not provide lunches on 1-2 person trips, but will have a cooler on the boat for you to store your lunch . Not providing lunch enables me to keep my prices down and is also a safety precaution due to Covid-19 .
Group trips are also a option if you have 4-6 people that would like to experience the river as a group. These trips would require the use of 1-2 additional guides and drift boats and would include a grilled shore lunch. If interested in this option we can discuss pricing and lunch menu.
